Today, the IRS published the latest executive column, “A Closer Look,” featuring Chief Procurement Officer, Shanna Webbers, discussing procurement activities to transform IRS operations by creating a culture of innovation. This allowed a tool to quickly be developed to streamline processes that best support the mission.  “As a leader, you must be able to manage risk, lead your team in embracing innovation, and take a chance when the opportunity presents itself.  Swing for the fences!” said Webber.
